The Presbyterian Children’s Ministry seeks to assist parents in helping children know the character of God and begin a lifelong relationship with him through the Lord Jesus Christ. We do this through Bible study, discipleship from class teachers, and times of worship and fellowship.
Sunday School
We have Sunday School for pre-K through High School, and have an adult class as well. Students and adults are using the Gospel Project curriculum, which is a great way to learn the truths of God’s Word and to see how the good news of Jesus is communicated on every page of Scripture. Moreover, since adults and children are using the same curriculum, they can easily discuss what they’re learning. Sunday School is at 10:15am.
Wednesday Nights
On Wednesday nights during the fall and spring, we have a children’s program for pre-K through 5th graders. We meet at First Presbyterian Church from 5:30-6:00pm for a fellowship meal, followed by a time of worship and a Scripture lesson from 6:00-7:00pm.
Vacation Bible School
Each year, Vacation Bible School takes place at Idana Presbyterian Church during the week following Memorial Day.
Special Family-Centered Events
We hold other special family-centered events throughout the year.
