We are a gospel-centered church.
The word “gospel” means good news, and this is the good news we proclaim: God loved mankind so deeply, he sent his own Son to rescue us even as we were rebelling against him. Jesus came to earth, died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, and was raised to life again. Incredibly, God offers us forgiveness and offers to make us his children through our faith in his Son—through faith alone. We don’t earn that relationship. We don’t get it by being good enough. God gives it to us as a gift.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
God’s goodness to us is radical and transforming. And it all is given to us through his Son, Jesus. That is why we aim to be: Rooted in Christ, Growing His Kingdom.
Experiencing the gospel motivates our goal of being Rooted in Christ and Growing His Kingdom. We strive to be Rooted in Christ through the Word, prayer, worship, and fellowship with believers. Through these, we deepen our relationship with Christ, we draw up strength from him, and we seek to have him impact every facet of our lives—we strive to Grow His Kingdom. We do this by serving others, telling people the good news about Jesus, obeying God, and loving people.
Here are the specifics of our vision:
